Didalam naskah ataupun bacaan-bacaan dalam Bahasa Inggris sering kita temukan singkatan-singkatan di dalamnya. Nah kali ini saya mau beritahu berbagai macam singkatan di dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Penggunaan ToBe & ToDo Dalam Bahasa Inggris

digunakan pada kalimat yang tidak punya kata kerja
:
IS (she, he, it)
: ARE (they, we, you)
: AM (I)
Example : Kucing itu kenyang
(+) That cat is satisfied
(-) That cat isn’t satisfied
(?) is cat that satisfied ?

To Do :
digunakan pada kalimat yang punya kata kerja
: Do (I, you, we, they)
: Does (she,
he, it)
Example : Saya membaca buku
(+) I read book
(-) I don’t read book
(?) do I read book ?
Khusus untuk penggunaan To Do, pada kalimat
positif (+) To Do tidak boleh ditulis. To Do hanya dipakai di kalimat negative
(-) dan introgatif (?).
